Smith & Loveless/ DI-SEP ® services S&L/ DI-SEP ® equipment along with equipment provided by other manufacturers.
Modifications to Existing Equipment including Instrumentation Packages etc.
Smith & Loveless/ DI-SEP ® provides various ways to upgrade existing filters or eliminate current problems with low cost upgrades. For example, if an electrolyte filter is more than 3 years old S&L/ DI-SEP ® has a new, maintenance-free instrumentation package that can be provided to eliminate the plugging and crystallization issues often found in older systems.
Media for Rebedding Existing SX Filters
Does your electrolyte filter need to be rebed? Industry standard is typically once per year though it is dependent upon many items including filter organic load, suspended solids load, and the presence of upset conditions etc. S&L/ DI-SEP ® can supply media specified for the SX/EW plant.
Rescreening of Internals
Smith & Loveless/ DI-SEP ® rescreens and replaces distributors for filters of all sizes located in Chile by any manufacturer. Many options are available to suit the specific needs of each mine site. Effective screening of distributors improves performance and minimizes media loss.
Spare Parts
Be prepared! Having adequate inventory of critical spare parts minimizes downtime and maximizes performance. S&L/ DI-SEP ® recommends specific inventory and stock spare parts for S&L/ DI-SEP ® electrolyte filters as well as other manufacturer's electrolyte filters. S&L/ DI-SEP ® provides special handling and help for any electrolyte filter emergency. |
